Four-Time Emmy Nominee Matt Bernstein is a Miami based photojournalist, producer and editor who has been working in the Television Industry for over a
decade. His projects have ranged from news, commercials and documentaries to promotional campaigns, sizzle reels, pilots and a wide variety of reality shows.

Matt has filmed Nationally Broadcast HD Programming for CNN, Travel Channel, HGTV, BET, TLC and NBC just to name a few. Most recently he was nominated for three Emmys in news and lifestyle programming.

His passion and commitment for creating beautiful content has taken him to Haiti, Curacao, Bahamas and across America. Where he has shot plenty of programming ranging from riveting documentaries for CNN, to the Miami episode of Travel Channel’s Bizarre Foods America with Andrew Zimmern and the first season of HGTVs hit show Color Splash Miami with David Bromstad.

But, Matthew is no stranger when it comes to covering national news making events. He covered campaign stops from various locations as well as Election Night coverage during the 2008 political season, was first to report live from the scene in Wellington, Florida in the wake of a devastating tornado that tour through a community and also covered the election of Pope Francis from St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City.

Additionally, he has provided extensive coverage on hard-hitting hurricanes and tropical storms, an inside look at the corrupted pain pill clinic industry and the ongoing problem of underage sex trafficking.

His love for storytelling has had a huge influence on his work. Matt can work comfortably with a crew of 100 or as a one-man operation, having worked in both capacities as a field director, producer, Director of Photography and camera operator on numerous shows. Matt loves to collaborate with directors, producers and other camera ops in order to achieve the best possible production. His experience, enthusiasm and hard work ethic are a benefit to any production.

Matthew is also an avid foodie so when he’s not out filming he’s looking for the next delicious dining destination; so far the greatest hidden food gem is Sake Bar Hagi in Time Square.
